Summer is always an important season for the world of coffee, as it marks the time where the beans are growing. Our partners at the Coffee Shop Innovation Expo have made the most of this summer to show you that they have done some growing of their own. In light of the 2018 edition of the event, the team behind the show have worked arduously to provide its visitors with a whole new experience... and the best bit? It all starts with their brand new look. The new logo of the Coffee Shop Innovation Expo gives you an exclusive first glimpse at what the show has in store, capturing the excitement of the latest ideas that are lighting up the coffee shop industry, whilst also sparking that special bond that everyone has with their warm cup of coffee. The rebranding crosses over every aspect of the show including a completely revamped Coffeepreneur e-magazine; however, the most significant facet of the new brand is the green and environmentally friendly approach that the Coffee Shop Innovation Expo has adopted.
The show has been instigating significant change in the coffee shop industry ever since its first edition and, in search for an even greater impact, it has decided to partner with Project Waterfall to help bring clean drinking water and sanitation to coffee growing communities around the world, providing a way to give back to the people who grow our beloved coffee. The Coffee Shop Innovation Expo is also looking to help the environment through partnerships with eco-friendly organisations such as Green Earth Appeal, who have promised to plant one tree for each exhibitor at the event, counterbalancing their footprint on the environment. In their quest to reduce food wastage, the show has joined forces with Too Good To Go, a revolutionary app that has helped restaurants and food stores “save” over 2.5 million meals already. They have also partnered with the Soil Association in order to encourage the setup of organic and ecological principles in the way people eat and farm across the industry. These are just some of several initiatives that the Coffee Shop Innovation Expo have taken in order to promote sustainability, which will be a key theme at the show this year.
