EspressGo is a new app that allows customers to pre-order their favourite craft coffees and other beverages and pay for them electronically with just a few taps. They can then pick them up when ready without having to queue.
Following a successful unveiling at The Caffé Culture Show in May, London-based caffeine fiends can download EspressGo for free from the iOS app store to order direct from a range of the city’s best baristas. Launch partners include Farm Girl and A Wanted Man, and early subscribers will be rewarded by getting their first drink for free.
Order on the go
“EspressGo is designed by coffee lovers for coffee lovers,” commented Avi Mavadia, founder and marketing director. “We know that convenience is king for today’s consumer, so we wanted to bring the benefits of technology to all the fantastic independent coffee shops out there so they can serve more customers, stay competitive with the big chains and quickly grow their brands and businesses.”
EspressGo is looking to grow its number of coffee shop and café partners – initially in London before rolling out across the country in 2018. Benefits include a fast, secure electronic payments system, an in-built digital loyalty platform, a free in-store device to connect you to the EspressGo network and access to analytics to better understand customer trends.
